This update is so long overdue! But still it needs improvement. Operation is not smooth at all. See how BA app works and make the next update soon. Also, dont forget to update the iPad version.

App is not bad but we dont have much options to use in the app

Nothing wrong with the app but could use additional updates. I wish in the future update it can link the app to passbook and your schedule to the calendar

The old app worked fine. The new one takes forever to load and doesnt even let me check in. Shame on Cathay for allowing this to be released in its present form.

App is junk for such a big airline. Gets stuck on the splash screen most of the time or says I have no bookings. Doesnt work offline at all since it doesnt seem to store anything offline so no quick reference of booking PNR, schedules, etc., so useless. Also lacks functionality. But start with getting the app to work all the time before add features.

Most of the time it doesnt even open. Complete crap

Its good enough and functional when it actually works but this version keeps freezing at the splash page about 90% of the time. Only fix seems to be to uninstall and reinstall.

While the first iteration of the app was a dog to launch and use, the update I received today is fast and best of all -- I CAN BOOK FROM THE MOBILE APPLICATION!! Thanks Cathay! Great job

The app is great, but I was forced to update and now I cant login using my Asia Miles number like I was able to in the past to view all my bookings.

Cathay is a wonderful airline with excellent customer service, and an exceptional inflight experience. Unfortunately, their app is a buggy disaster that seems to work about 20% of the time and has far less functionality than some of the inferior airlines like United and AA.

CATHAY PACIFIC PLEASE FIX I CANNOT SIGN IN TO MARCO POLO. It says could not sign you in please leave app and try again. This has happened on all devices.

The app does not have up-to-date information. Even the airline staff dont have much faith in the info provided by this app. Its only good on showing original flight schedule time.

and hardly anything works on it. There is a technical error message for 90% of tasks attempted.

I can finally choose seats now before check-in!

Who would make an app that wont book a trip starting from hkg- your home airport?! Whoever made the decision should be sent back to the last century because he/she doesnt belong here. So its pretty much useless.

The most basic of the functionality is the ability to remember credentials so that I can quickly check travel details. Other air line apps sometimes forget password forcing a re login. This app forgets it every single time even though there is an option to save credentials indefinitely (which I click every single time) :-(

Unable to enter information to book a flight. App doesnt work.
